Mark and Melissa are good friends of mine from way back when. I hadn't seen them in quite some time so I was delighted to recently get a call from Mark suggesting that we pay them a visit and also do a photo session for their son, Elliott, who just turned one. Elliott was very photogenic right off the bat! He hadn't even changed into his "good" clothes and was already giving me some great poses to work with.
Once Elliott got changed up, I set up the studio in their living room and we went right to work. What's really nice about shooting on location is that I had access to all of Elliott's toys, which made for some really fun shots!
Elliott has recently become mobile and was anxious to show me his moves.
We, of course, had to get some family photos too.
Even their dog Matilda joined us for a few!
Although Mark was more of a Vans guy back in the day, he has recently converted to Chucks. He even found some for Elliott. Can you believe they sell Chucks this small!?
Elliott is already working on spelling his name.
By the way, owl hats rule.
After a grueling photo session, Elliott was ready to tear into some pizza!
A big thank you to Mark and Melissa for having us out to get some fun photos of 1-year-old Elliott. It was an awesome visit and I look forward to seeing more of them in the future!
