Mickey Finn is a Boston Terrier puppy who belongs to our friend Lauren. When I heard that Lauren was getting him, I made sure to let her know I was really interested in photographing him as a puppy. A lot of people intend to get puppy photos but put it off too long, and next thing you know they are twice the size! At the time of this shoot, Mickey was literally the size of a burrito. For a size comparison, this is Mickey with his mom's sandal.
I've seen a lot of cute puppies, but he might take the cake (don't let my dog Stockton know I said that)! Lauren and I joked that we might break the Internet if we posted this blog because he is too adorable ;)
Mickey was fascinated by me and the camera.
After we had a chance to play for a bit, he took me for a tour around his house and showed me some of his favorite places to lounge around.
Of course, we had to make some time for a little treat before we got to some serious playtime shots!
After his snack, Mickey wanted to show off his fetch skills. By the way, this tennis ball is about the size of a golf ball, just to remind you how little he is.
Mickey has an older sister named Stella who is a doll herself, I mean come on, look at this face!
Mickey is Stella's shadow, there's no denying that he likes to be by his big sister's side :)
Don't forget, though, that the most important job of ANY brother is to annoy your sister!
After all this, Mickey was absolutely pooped! Needless to say, Lauren didn't have to worry about excercising Mickey any more that day.
I want to thank Lauren for having me over to photograph her two super cute pups! Especially the little burrito, Mickey Finn! I had a great time and can't wait to see Mickey all grown up!
